WHY COACH LACROSSE? Our Rec and Travel Programs are a great way to get involved with your children, learn about a great sport, and meet new people. BUT I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE GAME. Many of our current coaches (see Our Staff) knew little about the game when they first started to coach. We take many steps to prepare you to coach: - We offer pre-season coaching clinics to introduce the program structure and drills we emphasis. - We hold ‘Univeral Practices’ where all coaches and players practice together. All players get the benefit of the expertise each coach has and new coaches get to learn from experienced coaches. - We have returning players who are currently playing at the High School level to help with coaching and can demonstrate skills. - The game strategy greatly resembles basketball and hockey and many of same techniques are used I’M INTERESTED, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
